Mitch Miller

Mitch Miller, originally from Lincoln County, North Carolina, brings over 17 years of experience in economic development to his role as Interim Director for York County Economic Development. He began his career in the Charlotte Region and spent the majority of his professional life in Northeast Tennessee, particularly in Johnson City. Mitch is passionate about investing in people and cultivating innovative ideas to address community challenges, driven by the belief that creativity is infectious and essential for growth.

Prior to joining York County Economic Development, Mitch raised over $5 million for regional economic development, recruited 5,000+ jobs to Northeast Tennessee, and established RegionAHEAD to support small businesses during COVID-19. He also launched the Talent Connect initiative, founded the Meet the Mountains Festival, and revitalized Downtown Johnson City with $88 million in new investments.

Mitch resides in York County with his son.
