From The Director's Desk. As we move into the spring season, we wanted to reflect on some of the exciting developments that have taken place in our area. Earlier this year, we welcomed Pallidus and PDM US to York County, which is great news for our local economy.
Additionally, we're proud to congratulate Elkem on being named the Manufacturer of the Year in York County, recognizing the hard work of our local manufacturing sector. We're also pleased to see our local education institutions, like York Technical College, continuing to provide valuable training and apprenticeship opportunities to students.
While we're excited about the positive developments in our area, we're also keeping a watchful eye on the national and local economy and any potential impacts on our community. We're committed to promoting economic growth and opportunity in York County and will continue to work towards that goal.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to promote economic growth and opportunity in York County. With a notable year in 2022 and more interest in our area in 2023, it's clear that York County is -- The Location You Need. The Life You Want.
Sincerely,
– David Swenson, Director of York County Economic Development
