York County Organizations Unveil "Make It York County" Brand Initiative

Regional Collaboration Aims to Elevate York County’s Visibility and Economic Impact

YORK COUNTY, S.C. – Following a reveal at the York County Regional Chamber Awards event, three of the county’s leading organizations—Visit York County, the York County Regional Chamber, and York County Economic Development—are proud to introduce Make It York County, a brand initiative designed to better showcase the region’s vibrancy, economic strength, and quality of life.

This collaborative effort represents a unified approach to promoting York County as a premier destination for visitors, residents, and businesses. By strategically aligning messaging and resources, Make It York County strengthens the region’s tourism appeal, business climate, and community development efforts.

"York County has so much to offer for businesses and individuals, and we plan to tell that story in a bigger, bolder way with a cohesive message," said Dean Faile, President & CEO of the York County Regional Chamber. A Shared Vision for Long-Term Growth

Make It York County was born from a 2023 collaboration between the three organizations to create a cohesive and strategic brand that would amplify the region’s presence. Through this partnership, York County will be marketed in a way that resonates across multiple audiences—from prospective businesses and investors to residents and visitors—ensuring a more effective and consistent message.

"Economic growth isn’t just about attracting new businesses—it’s about strengthening our communities, supporting local entrepreneurs, and making sure York County continues to be a place where people want to live and build their futures," said Mitch Miller, Director of York County Economic Development.
