Fort Mill, South Carolina – Consultant Connect, a consulting agency designed to bridge the gap between economic developers and site consultants, recently announced David Swenson as one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers of 2015. 

“The list of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers was developed as a way to acknowledge the work of these 50 economic development leaders and elevate the conversation around best practices in the industry,” said Ron Kitchens, managing partner of Consultant Connect.

The announcement was delivered in a press release from the agency last Friday listing the recipients and explaining the selection process. Economic developers from across North America were chosen based on nominations by their colleagues in both the economic development industry and the site consultant community. Some of the selection factors included excellent practices, innovation and success in building the communities they serve.

As a part of the honor, Swenson, along with the other industry leaders will be interviewed to share insights gained from their experiences in the field of economic development. They will also have a chance to share what makes their communities unique as well as convey their perspectives on the most important industry and leadership trends of the future.
